These organizations have contributed to the understanding of extremism, disinformation/misinformation, and ethical business in the United States.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) Extremist Files have three components: Extremist Organizations, SPLC Designated Hate Groups (a subset of the Extremist Organizations), and Individual Extremist Profiles. At launch, businesses making a commitment to PledgeNoHate.tech will be required to screen for all Extremist Organizations and SPLC Designated Hate Groups, while screening against Individual Extremist Profiles remains optional and for future incorporation into PledgeNoHate.tech. SPLC also maintains a dictionary of extremist ideologies.

The Anti-Defamation League offers a primer on how hate groups operate in the United States, along with ADL's H.E.A.T. Map, a database of hate symbols, and glossary of extremism.

The Center for Countering Digital Hate offers an extensive library of research papers and investigations into online hate and misinformation, as well as policy ideas about how we can tackle the systems and bad actors who spread hate and misinformation.

The Global Project Against Hate and Extremism maintains a wide variety of research, policy, and initiatives to counter extremism online and offline - including a global hate movements/symbols database.

The Institute for Strategic Dialogue is based in multiple locations in Europe as well as Washington, DC. It maintains explicit study of extremism in the United States, and works to counter global extremism in partnership with business, government, academic, and community organizations.

Ethical Systems is housed in NYU Stern Business School’s Business and Society Program. It’s mission is to harness research from leaders in academia to transform the ethical practice of business in the corporate world.
